Abu Dhabi launches academy to train thousands of tourism frontliners

## New Training Initiative

Abu Dhabi has introduced the Visitor Experience (VX) Academy, a comprehensive training program aimed at enhancing the skills of over 38,000 tourism frontliners. This initiative is part of the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi's (DCT Abu Dhabi) broader strategy to improve visitor experiences across the emirate.

## Extensive Participation

The academy has already enrolled 38,643 participants from 260 organizations within Abu Dhabi's tourism sector. These include 149 hotels, 27 attractions, and 18 cultural sites, all working towards delivering exceptional service and hospitality.

## Strategic Goals

Saleh Mohamed Al Geziry, Director General for Tourism at DCT Abu Dhabi, emphasized that the academy is crucial for achieving the emirate's Tourism Strategy 2030. The program aims to ensure that every visitor receives a warm welcome and high-quality service, reinforcing Abu Dhabi's reputation as a top-tier global destination.
