## Nithari Killings Case Koli, in his early 50s, was involved in the high-profile Nithari killings case, which emerged in December 2006 when human remains were found near his employer Moninder Singh Pandher's residence in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Both Koli and Pandher were arrested, with Koli initially convicted and sentenced to death in several cases.

## Legal Proceedings Over the years, Koli was acquitted in multiple cases. In November 2025, the Supreme Court accepted his curative petition in the final case, citing inconsistencies in the evidence. Earlier, in July 2025, the court upheld acquittals in 12 related prosecutions.

## Current Investigation Following his release, Koli had been living in Haridwar, running a tea stall. His death has prompted a police investigation to determine the exact circumstances, with preliminary findings suggesting suicide.
