In a unique protest against the rising stray dog issue, a leader from Shiv Sena (UBT) released several stray dogs inside the office of a civic chief in Maharashtra. The incident occurred on September 15 at the Niphad Nagar Panchayat office in Nashik district.

## Protest Details

Vikram Randhave, the Yuva Sena district chief, carried bags containing four to five stray dogs into the office of civic chief officer Dheeraj Bhamre. A video shows Randhave releasing the dogs onto Bhamre's desk, causing the officer to move back in surprise. The dogs appeared uneasy in the new environment, with one settling in a corner and another roaming the office.

## Reason for the Protest

Randhave's actions were in response to what he claims is the administration's failure to address the stray dog problem, despite repeated complaints. He criticized the civic body for prioritizing tender processes over resolving the issue and warned of further protests if no action is taken.

This protest follows another unusual demonstration in Madhya Pradesh, where a man wore a dog mask to highlight issues with the municipal corporation's stray dog sterilization program.
