flydubai expands reach with Air India, Uzbekistan Airways tie-ups

## New Interline Agreements

flydubai has entered into interline agreements with Air India and Uzbekistan Airways, significantly broadening its global reach. These partnerships enable flydubai passengers to access over 80 additional destinations across Asia, Australia, and Europe.

## Enhanced Connectivity

The agreements allow passengers to book single-ticket itineraries with through-checked baggage, facilitating seamless travel across the networks of the partner airlines. Air India and Uzbekistan Airways customers will also benefit from access to flydubai's routes via Dubai.

## Strategic Expansion

With these new partnerships, flydubai's interline network now includes 46 airlines, covering more than 125 destinations. This move aligns with the airline's strategy to expand its network and enhance connectivity for its passengers.

## Key Destinations

Through Air India, flydubai passengers can connect to Indian cities like Bengaluru and Chennai, as well as international destinations such as Sydney and Tokyo. Uzbekistan Airways offers connections via Tashkent to cities like Moscow and London, along with domestic Uzbek destinations.

## Leadership Insights

flydubai CEO Ghaith Al Ghaith highlighted the strategic importance of these partnerships, noting that they open up markets in South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Australia, while also providing a crucial link through Central Asia and into Europe. Air India's Nipun Aggarwal and Uzbekistan Airways' Shukhrat Khudaykulov both emphasized the convenience and enhanced access these agreements bring to their passengers.

## flydubai's Growth

Since its inception in 2009, flydubai has established a network of over 120 destinations, launching more than 100 routes to previously underserved markets. The airline's interline and codeshare partnerships now offer access to over 300 destinations worldwide, further solidifying its position as a key player in global aviation.
