Despite global challenges, Ras Al Khaimah has seen a significant increase in domestic tourism, with over 670,000 visitors recorded in the first half of 2026. This marks the emirate's strongest performance for this period, with domestic arrivals up by 47% compared to the previous year.

## Future Developments

The emirate is also expanding its hospitality infrastructure, with several new hotels and resorts in the pipeline. Notable projects include the Wynn Al Marjan Island, set to open in September 2027, and a new VIP terminal at Ras Al Khaimah International Airport.
