Virgin Mobile UAE also supports eSIM activation without additional charges. Users can initiate the switch through the Virgin Mobile app, ensuring their device is connected to the internet.

## Cost Implications

Switching to an eSIM may incur different costs depending on the provider. While e& offers free conversion through its app, a store visit might cost around Dh50. Du charges approximately Dh20 for converting an existing SIM to an eSIM, with new prepaid plans starting at Dh55 plus VAT.
