Riyan Malhan, a promising badminton talent from the UAE, has made history by winning the country's first singles gold medal at the Badminton Asia U17 Junior Championships in Chengdu, China. The 16-year-old, who holds the top spot in the junior world rankings, showcased exceptional skill to defeat Hong Kong China's Zhan Shing Yui in straight games, 15-5, 15-9.
