UAE weather: Fog, mist possible over coastal areas as temperatures to hit 45°C

The UAE is set to experience high temperatures reaching up to 45°C on Monday. The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has indicated that the weather will be mostly fair to partly cloudy, with a possibility of clouds forming in eastern regions.

## Humidity and Fog

Humidity levels are expected to rise overnight, increasing the likelihood of fog or mist in coastal areas. This pattern is anticipated to continue into Tuesday morning, with similar conditions persisting throughout the week.

## Temperature Variations

Inland areas will see temperatures ranging from 41°C to 45°C, while coastal regions and islands will have highs between 38°C and 42°C. Mountainous areas will experience cooler temperatures, ranging from 30°C to 35°C.

## Wind and Sea Conditions

Winds will be light to moderate, occasionally becoming fresh, blowing from south-easterly to north-easterly directions at speeds of 10 to 25 kph, and potentially reaching 35 kph in some locations. The sea is expected to remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.

## Outlook for the Week

The NCM forecasts that fair to partly cloudy conditions will continue through Friday, with overnight humidity remaining a factor in coastal areas, leading to potential fog formation.
