Abu Dhabi gets direct Aqaba flights with easier access to Petra and Wadi Rum

## New Flight Route

Royal Jordanian Airlines has introduced a direct flight service between Abu Dhabi and Aqaba, enhancing travel options for UAE residents. This new route provides easier access to popular Jordanian destinations such as Petra and Wadi Rum.

## Flight Frequency

The airline will operate two flights weekly on this route, adding to its existing services between the UAE and Jordan. Currently, Royal Jordanian offers nearly 40 direct flights weekly between the two countries, including routes from Dubai and Sharjah to Amman.

## Tourism Boost

Aqaba, part of Jordan's Golden Triangle along with Petra and Wadi Rum, is a key destination for Red Sea tourism. The new flight route allows travelers to reach southern Jordan directly, bypassing Amman.

## Tourism Campaign

During a launch event in Dubai, Royal Jordanian also introduced "ExploRJordan," a campaign promoting various tourist experiences across the country. The initiative aims to encourage visitors to explore beyond traditional sites like the Dead Sea and Amman.
