## Nationwide Crackdown Results in Mass Deportations

Saudi Arabia has deported 12,057 individuals following a week-long crackdown on residency, labor, and border violations. This operation, conducted from September 3 to September 9, involved joint inspections by security forces and various government agencies.

## Arrests and Violations

During the crackdown, authorities detained nearly 14,800 people. The arrests included 7,504 for residency law violations, 3,783 for border security breaches, and 3,509 for labor regulation infractions. Additionally, 1,273 individuals were caught attempting to enter the country illegally, with the majority being Ethiopian and Yemeni nationals.

## Legal Consequences and Warnings

Saudi authorities have warned that assisting illegal entry or providing shelter to violators can lead to severe penalties, including up to 15 years in prison and fines reaching SR1 million. Vehicles and properties used in these activities may also be confiscated.

## Ongoing Procedures

Currently, 30,257 expatriates are undergoing procedures related to immigration and labor violations. The Ministry of Interior has urged the public to report any violations through designated hotlines.
