Residents in the UAE can expect a shift towards cooler temperatures starting in the latter half of September. This change marks the end of the intense summer heat as the region transitions into autumn.

## Key Dates and Weather Patterns

The period known as "Dar Al Arbaeen," which follows the appearance of the Suhail star, concludes on September 24. During this time, occasional breaks in the heat may occur, although high temperatures can still return, often accompanied by increased humidity and morning fog.

Starting September 25, "Dar Al Khamsin" begins, bringing more consistent cooler weather. Maximum temperatures are expected to drop below 40°C, while minimum temperatures may fall below 25°C.

## October Winds and Seasonal Changes

From October 5 to 15, the "Dar Al Sittin" phase is characterized by strong, shifting winds known locally as "Darbat Al Ukhaithib." These winds can speed up the transition to milder conditions.

Following this, the "Al Murabba'aniya" period, lasting from mid-October to late November, is traditionally linked with the onset of winter weather and beneficial rainfall. This phase coincides with "Al Wasm," a time known for the arrival of winter clouds.

## Tropical Activity

October and November also mark the second period of tropical activity in the Arabian Sea, following the first in May and June, potentially influencing regional weather patterns.
