RAK bans barbecues at Flamingo Beach as outdoor season approaches

## New Restrictions at Flamingo Beach

Ras Al Khaimah has implemented a ban on barbecues and charcoal fires at Flamingo Beach. This measure, effective from September 10, 2026, aims to protect the environment and enhance public safety as the outdoor season approaches.

## Environmental and Safety Concerns

The decision by the emirate’s Public Services Department is intended to preserve the beach's natural beauty and ensure a safe environment for visitors. The ban comes as residents prepare for the cooler months, a popular time for outdoor activities in the UAE.

## Visitor Cooperation Encouraged

Visitors to Flamingo Beach are encouraged to comply with the new rules to maintain the area's cleanliness and safety. While the announcement did not specify penalties for violations, cooperation is urged to keep the beach enjoyable for everyone.
