Princess Diana's renowned 'revenge dress' is set to be auctioned by Sotheby’s in New York on December 9, 2026. This black silk gown, designed by Christina Stambolian, is expected to fetch between $150,000 and $300,000.

## A Memorable Appearance

Diana famously wore the off-the-shoulder dress to a Vanity Fair gala at London's Serpentine Gallery on June 29, 1994. Her appearance coincided with a televised documentary where her then-husband, now King Charles III, admitted to infidelity. ## Exhibition Tour
