## Introduction
The Friday sermon on September 11, 2026, focused on the life and virtues of Āʾishah, a revered figure in Islamic history. Known as the Mother of the Believers, she was celebrated for her deep faith, extensive knowledge, and unwavering devotion to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
## Āʾishah's Virtues
Āʾishah was recognized for her intelligence, generosity, and noble character. Raised in a household of faith and truthfulness, she became a learned scholar and jurist. Her innocence was affirmed in the Qurʾān, and she was known for her devotion to worship and charitable acts.
## Relationship with the Prophet
Her marriage to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was marked by mutual affection and respect. She was his beloved wife, and their relationship was filled with joy and companionship. Āʾishah was attentive to his needs and played a significant role in his life.
## Knowledge and Influence
Āʾishah's knowledge extended across various disciplines, including Islamic jurisprudence, poetry, and medicine. Her insights were sought by senior Companions, and she was known for her eagerness to learn and understand religious matters deeply.
## Legacy and Passing
Āʾishah passed away on the seventeenth of Ramaḍān, leaving behind a legacy of piety and wisdom. Her funeral was attended by a large gathering, reflecting her esteemed position in the community. Her life continues to inspire many, especially during Women’s Empowerment Month.
