## UAE's Strategic Proposal

Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, has proposed the creation of a German-Emirati Investment Council. This initiative aims to strengthen industrial and technological ties between the UAE and Germany. Al Jaber, who also serves as the UAE’s Special Envoy to Germany, highlighted the importance of Germany as a strategic partner in these sectors.

## Economic Growth and Trade

The UAE and Germany have seen significant economic collaboration, with bilateral trade reaching approximately €13.6 billion in 2025, marking a 15% increase from the previous year. UAE exports to Germany surged by 58%, showcasing the dynamic nature of their economic relationship. The UAE has already invested over €34 billion in Germany, with more than 2,000 German companies operating within the UAE.

## Future Investments and Opportunities

The proposed council is expected to mobilize long-term capital, identify investment opportunities, and eliminate business barriers.
