Saudi Arabia recalls 4,464 Genesis vehicles over fuel leak and fire risk

## Recall Details Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Commerce has announced a recall of 4,464 Genesis vehicles due to a potential fuel leak that could lead to a fire hazard. The affected models include the GV70, GV80, G80, and G90, spanning production years from 2021 to 2026.

## Specific Models Affected The recall involves specific model-year combinations: JK1 GV70 from 2021 to 2024, GV80 Coupe from 2025, PE GV80 from 2025, JX1 GV80 from 2021 to 2024, PE G80 from 2025, RG3 G80 from 2021 to 2024, RS4 G90 from 2021 to 2025, and PE GV70 from 2025 to 2026.

## Issue Identified The defect is linked to the mounting of the fuel cross-pipe, where improper installation could cause the connection to loosen, allowing fuel to leak and increasing the risk of fire.

## Action for Owners Owners are advised to verify if their vehicle is part of the recall by using the Recalls.sa platform with their Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). If affected, they should contact an authorized Genesis distributor for free repairs.

## Authorized Distributors Genesis vehicles in Saudi Arabia are distributed by Mohammed Yousuf Naghi Motors Co. in Jeddah, Wallan Trading Company in Riyadh, and Almajdouie Motors Company in Dammam.
