## Saudi Arabia's Stance on Houthi Threats

Saudi Arabia has declared its readiness to use all necessary measures to protect itself from Houthi attacks. This statement was made by Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan during a press conference in Moscow. He emphasized that while the Kingdom is prepared to defend its security, it remains open to diplomatic solutions.

## Diplomatic Efforts and Accusations

Prince Faisal accused the Houthis of resorting to violence when faced with challenges and prioritizing their interests over Yemen's. He noted that Yemen's recognized government had offered opportunities for negotiations, which the Houthis have not pursued, prolonging the conflict and suffering.

## Russia's Position

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov condemned the Houthi attacks on Saudi civilian targets, highlighting their impact on global stability. Lavrov reiterated Russia's support for Saudi Arabia's peace efforts in Yemen and called for the implementation of the Islamabad Memorandum between Iran and the U.S.

## Saudi-Russian Relations

The discussions between Prince Faisal and Lavrov also covered regional developments and the importance of Saudi-Russian cooperation. Both nations expressed a desire to strengthen ties, particularly in energy markets through OPEC+, and to maintain dialogue on regional issues.
