Harry Potter turns 25: Where the original cast is now — and remembering those we lost along the way

## The Golden Trio

As the Harry Potter series marks its 25th anniversary, fans reflect on the journeys of its beloved cast. Daniel Radcliffe, now 37, has embraced diverse roles, from Broadway to indie films, and is content to step back from the upcoming HBO reboot. Emma Watson, 36, has shifted focus to academia and advocacy, while Rupert Grint, 38, explores horror and television, with a new film, "Ebenezer," on the horizon.

## Hogwarts' Next Generation

Tom Felton, known for his role as Draco Malfoy, continues to balance mainstream and independent projects. Matthew Lewis, who portrayed Neville Longbottom, has maintained a steady presence on television. Evanna Lynch, remembered as Luna Lovegood, remains active in advocacy and recently married. Bonnie Wright, who played Ginny Weasley, has ventured into directing.

## Faculty and Friends

The adult cast members have also continued their illustrious careers. Ralph Fiennes, Jason Isaacs, and Helena Bonham Carter remain prominent in film and television. Gary Oldman and Imelda Staunton have achieved critical acclaim in recent years.

## Remembering Those We've Lost

The anniversary is also a time to honor those no longer with us. Alan Rickman, Richard Harris, Michael Gambon, Robbie Coltrane, Maggie Smith, and Richard Griffiths have all passed away, leaving a lasting legacy in the Harry Potter universe.

## Looking Ahead

As the franchise celebrates this milestone, a new HBO series is in the works, promising to introduce a fresh cast to the magical world of Hogwarts.
