## Significant Asset Growth

The Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) reported a 54% increase in assets under management during the first half of 2026. This growth reflects the financial hub's expanding influence and capacity.

## Workforce Expansion

The workforce within ADGM's jurisdiction reached 49,027, approaching the 50,000 milestone. This represents a 34% increase compared to the previous year, highlighting the hub's growing appeal to professionals.

## Increase in Licences and Managers

Active licences in ADGM rose to 13,974, with 1,814 new licences issued in the first half of the year. The number of fund and asset managers also grew, reaching 190, up from 154 the previous year.

## AI-Focused Investments

Institutions in ADGM now manage over $100 billion in AI-focused capital. This includes investments from MGX, a platform specializing in AI infrastructure and advanced technologies.

## Financial Services Growth

The number of financial services entities in ADGM increased to 392, with 50 In-Principle Approvals and 45 new Financial Services Permissions granted. Notable firms expanding in ADGM include Capital Group and Bain Capital.

## Technological Advancements

ADGM is enhancing its technology capabilities, planning to invest over Dh400 million by 2029 to modernize its digital infrastructure and regulatory systems. Initial AI implementations have already reduced manual workloads significantly.

## Talent Development

ADGM Academy trained over 1,600 Emirati nationals and expanded employment opportunities through partnerships. The Academy also offers courses in agentic AI, supporting Abu Dhabi's economic diversification efforts.
