## Family's Search for Jiku
A family in Abu Dhabi is tirelessly searching for their two-year-old Maltese dog, Jiku, who went missing on July 3. The dog disappeared shortly after the family moved to a new home near Mushrif Mall. Since then, they have been actively looking for him, offering a Dh15,000 reward for his safe return.
## Community Efforts
The search for Jiku has expanded beyond the family, involving a WhatsApp group of volunteers and a flyer campaign across various neighborhoods. Despite numerous reported sightings, Jiku remains missing. The family has focused their search around Al Nada Girls' School and the International Community School, areas where Jiku was last seen.
## Witness Accounts
Several witnesses have reported seeing a small white dog matching Jiku's description. One notable sighting involved a man carrying a dog near an ADNOC station. Despite these leads, the man has not been identified, and Jiku has not been found.
## Reward and Challenges
The reward for Jiku's return was initially Dh5,000 but increased to Dh15,000 after a Dubai company, Gulf Invest, offered support. The family has received prank calls and false leads but remains hopeful. They continue to reach out to veterinary clinics across the UAE, hoping someone will eventually bring Jiku in for a scan.
