Why has PCB confiscated players’ phones ahead of third Test?

## PCB's Unusual Move

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has taken the unusual step of confiscating the mobile phones of several players in London. This action is reportedly part of an ongoing investigation, though specific details remain unclear.

## Squad Changes

This development follows significant changes to the Pakistan Test squad after their 194-run loss to England at Lord's. Seven players, including Mohammad Rizwan and Imam-ul-Haq, were sent home, and new players were called up for the final Test at Edgbaston.

## Coaching Staff Overhaul

In addition to player changes, the PCB replaced head coach Sarfaraz Ahmed and bowling coach Umar Gul with Mike Hesson and Ashley Noffke. Hesson, who joined the team on short notice, stated he was not involved in the original squad selection and is focused on preparing the team for the upcoming match.

## Upcoming Test

The third and final Test against England is set to begin on September 9 at Edgbaston. The confiscated phones will remain with the PCB until the match concludes, adding to the pressure on a team already facing a challenging series.
