## Morning Commute Challenges
Commuters traveling between Sharjah and Dubai are facing significant delays due to heavy traffic. The congestion is particularly severe on major routes such as Al Ittihad Road (E11) and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Road (E311).
## Key Areas Affected
Al Ittihad Road is experiencing a traffic jam stretching from Al Nahda in Sharjah to the Dubai Police General Headquarters. Meanwhile, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Road is seeing slow movement from the Muwailah Commercial area towards Muhaisna Second, exacerbated by minor accidents.
Ras Al Khor Road is also congested near Dubai Design District, extending towards Business Bay. In Deira, Corniche Road is slow from Hamriya Port to Dubai Hospital, with additional delays on roads leading to Al Baraha.
## Internal Roads and Alternatives
Several internal roads, including Al Quds Street, Al Nahda Street, and Beirut Street, are also experiencing slow traffic. However, Emirates Road (E611) is currently free of major delays, offering a smoother alternative for drivers.
## Advice for Motorists
Drivers are advised to plan their journeys with extra travel time in mind during the morning rush hour to avoid potential delays.
