## Strong Opening for Mirzapur Spinoff

The spinoff film "Mirzapur: The Movie" has made a significant impact at the box office, driven by the enthusiastic fanbase of the character Kaleen Bhaiya. Despite not featuring a traditional Bollywood superstar, the film has managed to secure a strong opening.

## Impressive Advance Bookings

On its first day, the movie collected Rs 3.18 crore net from 3,184 shows across India, with gross collections reaching Rs 3.75 crore. Advance bookings were robust, with 327,975 tickets sold for Hindi and Telugu 2D shows, generating Rs 9.19 crore, which increased to Rs 12.55 crore when block bookings were included.

## High Expectations and Ticket Prices

Trade analysts had anticipated an opening day collection of around Rs 25 crore net in India, potentially making it one of the largest openings for a film without a major star. Ticket prices varied, with some metro cinemas charging over Rs 1,000, and premium seats at DLF Mall of India in Noida reaching Rs 1,800.
