## Historic Samurai Armour Showcased

A 500-year-old Samurai armour was unveiled at the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) 2026. The piece, crafted in the 16th century, was presented by Marutake Industry, a Japanese company known for traditional armor manufacturing.

## Cultural Significance

The armour is not just a protective suit but also a symbol of power, luck, and status. It was originally made for high-ranking individuals like kings and generals. The intricate design includes gold leafing, which signifies luxury, and motifs such as falcon wings and dragons, representing power and prosperity.

## Craftsmanship Details

Weighing over 20 kilograms, the armour is made from iron plates, gold leaf, deer hide, silk threads, horsehair, and wood.
