## Launch of NAD+OLOGY
NAD+OLOGY, a skincare brand developed in Dubai, is set to make its debut at Beautyworld Dubai on October 6. This launch comes after more than two and a half years of development. The brand is introducing a line of hand care products, including hand wash and hand cream, marking a unique entry point in an industry typically focused on facial skincare.
## Focus on Hand Care
The brand's founder, Sandeep Virdee, questions why skincare often stops at the wrist, despite hands being frequently exposed to environmental factors. Virdee, who has been a Dubai resident for two decades, collaborated with scientists and researchers to develop the brand, emphasizing a careful approach to scientific claims.
## Scientific Approach
NAD+OLOGY derives its name from NAD+, a molecule crucial to cellular processes and energy metabolism. The brand aims to differentiate between established scientific research and ongoing investigations. Peptides, another popular skincare ingredient, are also considered within the overall formulation.
## Dubai-Based Development
The brand has strong ties to Dubai, with local companies involved in formulation, production, and marketing. While some ingredients are sourced internationally, the development and production are based in Dubai.
## Product Range and Future Plans
The initial product range includes three collections: Atelier Noir, The Ivory Society, and Bare Skin, which is fragrance-free. Future products in development include SPF, an eye serum, and a skin serum. Virdee views the launch as the start of a long-term effort to build a skincare business rooted in scientific research and local expertise.
