‘Don’t Sit on the Sidelines’: Jonjo Shelvey Tempts Karim Benzema, Paul Pogba to Arabian Falcons

## Arabian Falcons Extend Invitation to Free Agents

Jonjo Shelvey, manager of the Arabian Falcons, is reaching out to high-profile footballers like Karim Benzema and Paul Pogba to join the UAE club. Despite the recent transfer window closure, these players remain without a team, and Shelvey is offering them a chance to play in Dubai without long-term commitments.

## Benzema and Pogba Among Top Targets

Karim Benzema, a former Ballon d'Or winner, recently parted ways with Al Hilal and is now a free agent. Paul Pogba, along with other notable players such as Jadon Sancho and Raheem Sterling, are also on Shelvey's radar. The Arabian Falcons, competing in the UAE's Second Division League, are keen to attract these talents.

## Benefits of Joining the Falcons

Shelvey highlights the advantages of playing in Dubai, including tax-free earnings and a luxurious lifestyle. The club, founded in 2023, has already tasted success by winning the UAE Third Division League in their debut season. The management team, including co-owner Jason Puncheon and Sporting Director Harry Agombar, is actively encouraging these stars to join.

## Promising Start to the Season

The Arabian Falcons have begun the 2026-27 season with a victory, defeating For Gentos FC 2-0. Shelvey believes that adding players like Benzema and Pogba could significantly enhance the team's prospects.
