## Company Background and Achievements
Founded in 2016, BitOasis has become a prominent crypto platform in the Middle East. It has recorded around $8.5 billion in spot trading volume and serves a diverse clientele, including retail investors and institutional clients across the UAE and Bahrain.
## New Leadership and Vision
Jonathan Rigg brings extensive experience from global banking and fintech sectors, having worked with major institutions like HSBC and Deutsche Bank. His recent role was at Fuze Finance, where he contributed to scaling the business. Rigg aims to enhance BitOasis' platform and expand its product offerings, with a focus on trust and safety.
## Regional Expansion
BitOasis is expanding its regulated presence in the region. In 2025, it launched operations in Bahrain after obtaining a broker-dealer license from the Central Bank of Bahrain.
