Qatar Airways brings back four Saudi routes this winter and adds more flights

## New Routes and Increased Flights

Qatar Airways is set to enhance its connectivity with Saudi Arabia this winter by reinstating four routes and boosting its weekly flights to over 155. This marks a more than 10% increase compared to the summer schedule.

## Route Details

Flights to Qassim will resume on October 25, followed by Taif on October 31. Yanbu and Tabuk services will restart on January 2 and 3, 2027, respectively. Each route will operate twice weekly, offering more travel options for passengers.

## Enhanced Connectivity

The airline has already increased its Riyadh flights from 35 to 49 per week as of June 2026. This expansion is part of Qatar Airways' strategy to provide more departure choices and better connections through Doha's Hamad International Airport.

## Additional Services

Passengers on select flights between Doha and major Saudi cities like Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam can enjoy complimentary high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi. In July 2026, over 685 flights on these routes were equipped with this service.

## Future Plans

Qatar Airways' Saudi network will soon include destinations like Abha, AlUla, and The Red Sea, with NEOM services expected to resume in the latter half of 2027.
