UAE school timings 2026-27: Start and dismissal times from September 7

## Kindergarten Schedule

The Ministry of Education in the UAE has released the school timings for the 2026-27 academic year, starting September 7. Kindergarten students will attend school from Monday to Thursday, with arrival and activities beginning at 7:30am. The day includes five lessons and ends at 1pm. On Fridays, the schedule is shorter, with four lessons concluding at 11:30am.

## Cycle 1 Options

For Cycle 1 students, two timing options are available. The first option starts the day at 7:15am with a morning assembly, followed by seven lessons, ending at 1:25pm from Monday to Thursday. Fridays have a shorter schedule, ending at 10:30am. The second option begins at 8am, with the day ending at 2:20pm, and Fridays concluding at 11:30am.

## Cycles 2 and 3

Boys in Cycles 2 and 3 start their day at 7:15am, with eight lessons concluding at 2:15pm from Monday to Thursday. On Fridays, the day ends at 10:25am. Girls in the same cycles have a slightly later start at 8am, with their day ending at 3:15pm during the week and 11:30am on Fridays.

## Breaks and Lessons

All students have scheduled breaks during the day. Kindergarten and Cycle 1 have two breaks, while Cycles 2 and 3 also have two breaks, but at different times. The number of lessons per week varies, with kindergarten having 24, Cycle 1 having 32, and Cycles 2 and 3 having 36 lessons each.
