## Event Overview
The School of Cyber Defense Competition is set to return in 2026, inviting university students from across the UAE to participate. Organized by Tech Firm Technology LLC in collaboration with the Dubai Electronic Security Center (DESC), this event aims to engage students in real-world cybersecurity challenges.
## Competition Details
The competition will take place at GISEC Global, Dubai Exhibition Centre, on September 18, 2026. It will feature a team format where students analyze incidents, develop solutions, and present them to industry experts. The top five teams will compete for a prize pool of AED 20,000.
## Focus Areas
This year's edition emphasizes artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies. Students will tackle scenarios inspired by real-world cyber challenges, enhancing their technical and problem-solving skills.
## Participation
Open to UAE university students aged 17 and above, particularly those in computer science and related fields, the competition allows teams of up to five members. Universities can register multiple teams, and no prior competition experience is required.
## Industry Collaboration
The event is supported by leading technology and cybersecurity organizations, providing students with mentorship and industry exposure. Partners include AMD, Dahua Technology, Kaspersky, and others, offering a platform for students to gain practical experience and industry insights.
