Nearly 3,000 missing as Nepal-Tibet flood search continues

## Current Situation

Rescue operations are ongoing in the Nepal-Tibet region following devastating flash floods and landslides. As of the latest reports, nearly 3,000 individuals remain unaccounted for, with 691 confirmed fatalities.

## Missing Persons

Nepal's disaster agency reports 2,426 people missing within its borders, while Tibet has 546 missing, according to Chinese state media. Among the missing are 517 foreigners, including tourists and workers.

## Nationalities Affected

The missing include nationals from several countries. Notably, 98 Indians are unaccounted for, with 85 rescued. The United States reports 90 missing citizens, with three rescued. Other affected countries include Ukraine, Malaysia, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Canada, among others.

## Rescue Efforts
