## Falcons Steal the Spotlight

The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) 2026 is captivating visitors with its display of falcons, some valued at up to Dh1 million. The event, now in its 23rd edition, is drawing significant attention as it showcases a variety of falcon breeds and specialized equipment.

## Diverse Attractions

The exhibition features 15 sectors, including falconry, equestrian sports, and traditional crafts. Families can engage in educational workshops and explore a children's area that introduces Emirati heritage and customs.

## Falcon Auctions

Falcon auctions have been a highlight, with sales reaching Dh1.77 million from 26 falcons sold prior to the event. The highest price fetched was Dh255,000 for a pure gyrfalcon. Additional auctions are scheduled during the exhibition.

## Cultural and Environmental Highlights

Beyond falconry, ADIHEX offers international cultural performances and showcases traditional Emirati crafts. The Tadweer Group is presenting sustainability initiatives, aiming to divert 80% of solid waste from landfills by 2031.

ADIHEX 2026 runs at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi until September 6.
