## Arrests Made in Hospital Fraud Case
Kuwait's Interior Ministry has announced the arrest of two individuals involved in a counterfeit government stamp scheme at a government hospital. The suspects, an Egyptian security guard and a Kuwaiti woman, allegedly used fake stamps to divert fees owed to the state.
## Investigation Details
The arrests followed an investigation by the Criminal Police Department. The Egyptian expatriate was initially apprehended with several counterfeit stamps. Information from his questioning led to the arrest of the Kuwaiti woman, who was found with additional fake stamps.
## Fraudulent Activities
The woman reportedly admitted to using counterfeit stamps for financial gain. She allegedly processed official transactions with fake stamps while keeping genuine ones for other uses. Additionally, she is accused of reusing genuine stamps from stored documents for new transactions.
## Legal Proceedings
Both suspects, along with the seized counterfeit materials, have been handed over to the relevant authorities for further legal action. The Interior Ministry emphasized its commitment to preventing the exploitation of government procedures and safeguarding public funds.
