## Evening Traffic Alert
Motorists traveling between Dubai and Sharjah should prepare for significant traffic delays this evening. Key routes such as Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311) and Al Ittihad Road (E11) are expected to experience heavy congestion as rush hour peaks.
## Key Areas of Concern
Traffic is anticipated to be particularly slow around Al Qusais, Muhaisnah, and the Sharjah-Dubai border on E311. Similarly, E11 is likely to see slow movement near Al Mamzar, Al Nahda, and Sahara Centre due to high commuter volumes.
## Alternative Routes
Drivers may consider using Emirates Road (E611) as an alternative to E311, though congestion can also occur near major interchanges. Within Dubai, roads like Sheikh Zayed Road (E11), Al Khail Road (E44), and Ras Al Khor Road may also experience delays, especially around Business Bay.
## Sharjah Traffic
In Sharjah, expect slow traffic on Maliha Road (S102), University City Road (S116), and roads around Muwaileh and the Industrial Areas. A partial road closure near Al Hazana is in effect until August 28, affecting a section of the dual carriageway.
## Motorist Advice
Motorists are advised to leave earlier, maintain safe distances, and follow diversion signs, particularly near the Dubai-Sharjah border and roadwork areas.
