Largest-ever Abu Dhabi hunting and equestrian exhibition opens tomorrow

## Largest ADIHEX to Date

The Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) is set to open its largest edition yet on Friday. This year, the event will host 2,405 exhibitors and brands from 71 countries, marking a 17% increase in participation compared to last year. The exhibition will be held at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi from August 28 to September 6.

## Expanded Scope and New Participants

For the first time, the exhibition will run for 10 days, covering 107,000 square meters. Six countries are participating for the first time, and the event will feature 15 specialized sectors, including falconry, equestrianism, and environmental protection. Notably, 55 falcon-breeding farms will be present, with nine making their debut.

## Focus on Heritage and Innovation

The exhibition aims to connect Emirati heritage with modern innovation. A children's zone will offer workshops on traditional arts and falconry, while technology demonstrations will showcase advancements in falcon training and conservation. The event also highlights UAE conservation efforts, such as the Sheikh Zayed Falcon Release Programme.

## Promoting Sustainable Practices

Majid Ali Al Mansouri, Secretary-General of the Emirates Falconers’ Club, emphasized the exhibition's role in promoting sustainable hunting practices. By encouraging the use of captive-bred falcons, ADIHEX aims to reduce the impact on wild populations. The event also serves as a platform for cultural exchange and environmental awareness.
