Priyanka Chopra's Reset in trouble as Orlando Bloom exits days before shoot, makers hunt for replacement

## Orlando Bloom's Unexpected Departure

Priyanka Chopra's upcoming film "Reset" faces a major challenge as Orlando Bloom has exited the project just before filming was set to begin. Bloom was not only a co-star but also an executive producer. The reasons for his sudden departure remain unclear.

## Plot and Casting Challenges

"Reset," written by Jordan Rawlins, is a survival thriller about a woman who wakes up in the wilderness with no memory of how she got there. She must rely on a mysterious man, originally to be played by Bloom, whose intentions are uncertain. The production team is now urgently searching for a replacement, with three actors reportedly under consideration.

## Impact on the Film's Future

Bloom's exit is a significant setback for the film, which relied on his and Chopra's star power to secure international distribution. Director Matt Smukler had previously praised the chemistry between Bloom and Chopra, which was central to the film's appeal.

## Priyanka Chopra's Upcoming Projects

Despite the uncertainty surrounding "Reset," Chopra has a busy schedule ahead. She will appear in "Judgment Day" alongside Will Ferrell and Zac Efron, and in "Amri," a biographical drama about painter Amrita Sher-Gil. Additionally, she is involved in SS Rajamouli's "Varanasi" and has recently starred in several Hollywood projects, including "Love Again" and "Citadel."
