## ATM Malfunction in Egyptian Village
In the village of Qay, located in the Ihnasiya district of Beni Suef governorate, an ATM malfunction led to customers receiving double the amount of money they requested. The issue came to light when a customer attempting to withdraw 1,000 Egyptian pounds was dispensed 2,000 pounds instead.
## Community Response
The news of the ATM glitch quickly spread throughout the village, prompting many residents to use the machine. The error persisted across several transactions, leading to numerous instances of over-dispensed cash. Once the problem was identified, the ATM was temporarily shut down for examination and repair.
## Call for Honesty
Following the incident, a local resident, Ahmed Gamal, took to social media to raise awareness and encourage those who received extra cash to return it. This appeal was met with a positive response, as many villagers came forward to return the excess funds they had received.
