## Incident Overview
A Kuwaiti woman has been detained for allegedly insulting a municipality inspector during his official duties. The incident was reported to the Interior Ministry after the inspector claimed the woman directed offensive remarks at him.
## Police Involvement
Following the report, police were dispatched to the scene, and the woman was taken to Al Salhiya Police Station for questioning. Witnesses were called in, and their statements supported the inspector's account.
## Legal Context
Under Kuwaiti law, insulting a public official during their duties can result in up to three months in prison or a fine ranging from KD100 to KD300. The case is still under investigation, and no court decision has been made yet.
