## New Payment Options
Sharjah Charity International has introduced six new methods for paying Zakat Al-Mal, aiming to make the process simpler and more secure for donors. This initiative is part of the charity's efforts to enhance its operations and maximize the impact of donations on underprivileged families.
## Digital Solutions
Donors can now use a newly launched mobile app that features a user-friendly interface and a built-in Zakat calculator to ensure accurate payments. The app is designed to facilitate quick and secure transactions.
Additionally, the charity's official website and a smart payment link are available for online donations, supporting credit card payments for added convenience.
## Traditional and Modern Methods
For those preferring traditional methods, direct bank transfers can be made to accounts at Dubai Islamic Bank, Sharjah Islamic Bank, and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank. Donors can also request a representative to collect their Zakat contributions in person.
Modern digital wallets like Apple Pay and Samsung Pay are also supported, allowing seamless donations via smartphones.
## Impact of Donations
The funds collected through these channels are used to improve the living conditions of eligible beneficiaries. Assistance is provided in line with Islamic Sharia regulations and includes financial aid, tuition fee payments, medical support, rental assistance, and aid for prisoners facing financial difficulties.
## Commitment to Efficiency
Mohammed Rashid bin Bayat, Vice Chairman of the Board, emphasized the charity's dedication to simplifying donation procedures to ensure Zakat reaches those in need efficiently. He expressed gratitude to donors for their trust and acknowledged the support of Dubai Islamic Bank in the charity's Zakat initiatives.
