## Mohanlal's Latest Film Shoot

Mohanlal has been spotted in a police uniform while filming for "Athimanoharam" in the Pampa region near Sabarimala. Directed by Tharun Moorthy, this project reunites the actor with the director after their previous success with "Thudarum."

## Filming Restrictions

The production faced challenges as the Kerala Forest Department denied permission to shoot at Sannidhanam and surrounding areas within the Periyar Tiger Reserve. This decision aligns with existing court and government orders that limit commercial filming in wildlife sanctuaries and national parks.

## Approved Locations

Despite these restrictions, the Kerala High Court allowed filming in specific areas under the Ranni Forest Division. Approved locations include the vicinity of the Pampa KSRTC bus stand and a nearby tea shop. Filming at these sites is permitted from August 18 to 28, contingent on fees and agreements with the Forest and Wildlife Department.

## Cast and Crew

In "Athimanoharam," Mohanlal plays police sub-inspector TS Lovelajan, with Meera Jasmine as his wife, Naicy. The film also features Jagadish, Binu Pappu, Manoj K Jayan, Lalu Alex, and Bhama Arun. Produced by Ashiq Usman, the film is written by Ratheesh Ravi, with Shaji Kumar as the cinematographer and music by Jakes Bejoy.

## Release Date

"Athimanoharam" is slated for a theatrical release in December 2026.
