## New Regional Office in Dubai
IAAPA, a leading global association for the attractions industry, is expanding its presence in the Middle East and North Africa by launching a new regional office in Dubai. This initiative, in collaboration with the Middle East and North Africa Leisure and Attractions Council (MENALAC), aims to enhance support for the region's rapidly growing leisure and attractions sector.
## Official Launch at IAAPA Expo
The official launch of IAAPA MENA will coincide with the IAAPA Expo Middle East, with operations commencing on July 1, 2026. This collaboration will align the activities of IAAPA and MENALAC, providing better services to members and fostering growth in the industry.
## Strengthening Regional Support
Jakob Wahl, President and CEO of IAAPA, emphasized that the new structure will bolster support for MENA members while maintaining strong ties to the global community. The initiative will focus on innovation, collaboration, and sustainable growth in the region.
## Advisory Board and Committees
A MENA Regional Advisory Board will be established, comprising members from both IAAPA and MENALAC, to guide strategic priorities. Additionally, committees dedicated to Safety, Education, and Manufacturers and Suppliers will be formed to address specific industry needs.
## Leadership and Global Integration
The regional office will be led by a vice president and executive director, ensuring effective management and integration with IAAPA's global network. This move reflects IAAPA's commitment to supporting safe operations and professional development in the region.
