## UAE's Significant Contribution to Gaza

The United Arab Emirates has provided substantial humanitarian aid to Gaza, totaling approximately $3.9 billion. This contribution represents 46% of the global assistance directed towards the region. The aid effort is part of the UAE's commitment to rapid humanitarian response, a principle deeply rooted in the country's values and leadership.

## Educational Support Initiative

In addition to financial aid, the UAE has launched an educational campaign named "With Knowledge, We Rise." This initiative, spearheaded by Sharjah Charity International in collaboration with Operation Gallant Knight 3, aims to support Palestinian students in Gaza. A shipment of over 60 tonnes of educational supplies has been dispatched from Sharjah to Al Arish, Egypt, for distribution in Gaza.

## Impact on Education

The campaign's goal is to distribute more than 25,000 school bags to students across various educational levels. This effort is designed to help students continue their education despite the challenging conditions in the region. Abdullah bin Khadem, Executive Director of Sharjah Charity International, highlighted the organization's commitment, having already provided over Dh20 million in aid through ongoing relief efforts.
