## Imran Khan's First Family Visit

Former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, recently had his first family visit in nine months at Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi. This meeting was permitted by the apex court, allowing weekly family visits due to concerns about Khan's health.

## Details of the Meeting

Khan, who founded the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, has been incarcerated since 2023. He is serving a 14-year sentence related to the Al Qadir Trust corruption case. During the visit, Khan met his sister, Noreen Niazi, for the first time this year. Their discussion, which lasted about 15 minutes, covered his health and other personal matters.

## Health Concerns

Niazi informed Khan about a Supreme Court directive for his transfer to Shifa International Hospital for a medical check-up. However, other family members, including Khan's sisters Aleema and Uzma, and cousin Qasim Zaman, were not allowed to visit.

## Separate Meeting for Bushra Bibi

Khan's wife, Bushra Bibi, who is also detained at Adiala Jail, had a separate meeting with her family. She spent around 40 minutes with her children, Musa and Mubashara Maneka, and her sister-in-law Mehrunnisa. Musa and Mubashara are from her previous marriage.
