The new system includes lifetime-valid ID cards for citizens aged 60 and above, featuring a senior-citizen logo to ease renewal processes. Standardized identification has been introduced for residents of Pakistan-administered Azad Jammu & Kashmir, ensuring uniform representation.

## Modernized ID Formats

The government has updated specimen formats for various ID categories, including those for overseas Pakistanis, children, and persons with disabilities. Each format now includes QR-based security features and updated layouts, creating a cohesive identity document framework.
