Dubai has initiated public voting to determine the most beautiful Quran recitation for the 28th edition of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award. This event, held under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, invites the public to vote for one of six finalists during Ramadan.

## Finalists and Competition Details

The competition, which attracted 5,618 participants from 105 countries, has narrowed down to three male and three female finalists. The male finalists are Omar Aly Awad from Egypt, Abdulla AlButi from Kuwait, and Karrar Layth Saad from Iraq. The female finalists include Aisyah AR Rumy from Indonesia, Sarah Alhalak from Syria, and Jana Ehab Ramadan from Egypt.

## Prize and Ceremony

The winners will be announced at a ceremony on March 2, with each top male and female participant receiving a prize of $1 million. The event also honors a Global Quranic Personality.

## New Vision for the Award

This year's edition introduces a new vision, emphasizing Dubai's role in promoting the Quran's values globally. The competition now includes a category for female participants and offers the largest prize of its kind worldwide. Public voting aims to foster a global spiritual connection during Ramadan.
