Dubai Chambers has partnered with Trendyol to offer small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Dubai a 40% discount on Trendyol's introductory commission rate for the first three months. This initiative aims to support local businesses in establishing a digital presence and expanding their reach through the e-commerce platform.
## Enhanced Support for SMEs
Beyond the commission discount, the agreement provides SMEs with additional benefits such as homepage visibility, free advertising credits, and priority account management. This package is designed to facilitate the onboarding process and enhance the digital capabilities of Dubai-based businesses.
## Strategic Partnership Goals
Khalid AlJarwan of Dubai Chambers emphasized the importance of supporting SMEs to enhance their competitiveness and growth. The collaboration with Trendyol is intended to provide businesses with the necessary tools and training to succeed in the digital marketplace.
## Opportunities for Local Sellers
Trendyol, which launched in the UAE in 2023, has already onboarded over 15,500 regional sellers. The partnership is expected to increase the presence of Dubai-based businesses on the platform, offering them new opportunities for growth in the e-commerce sector.
## Future Prospects
Mohamad ElAnsari, CEO of Trendyol Gulf, highlighted the growing trend towards online shopping and the potential for SMEs to reach a wider customer base.
