UAE weather forecast: Temperatures to hit 50°C as rain, blowing dust expected

## Extreme Heat and Weather Variability

The UAE is bracing for extreme temperatures this week, with forecasts predicting highs of up to 50°C in some areas. The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued warnings for a mix of weather conditions, including rain, blowing dust, and fog.

## Temperature and Weather Details

Internal regions are expected to experience the most intense heat, with temperatures ranging from 45°C to 50°C. Coastal and island areas will see slightly lower temperatures, between 39°C and 45°C, while mountainous regions will range from 33°C to 39°C.

## Wind and Visibility Concerns

Winds are anticipated to be light to moderate but could strengthen, leading to blowing dust and reduced visibility, particularly in open areas. Wind speeds might reach up to 40 km/h inland and in mountainous areas, and 35 km/h along the coast.

## Humidity and Fog Risk

Humidity levels are expected to rise overnight and into the morning, particularly in western areas, increasing the likelihood of fog or mist. The Arabian Gulf is predicted to remain calm, while the Oman Sea may experience slight to moderate conditions.

## Outlook for the Week

Similar weather patterns are expected to continue into Wednesday, with potential afternoon showers in eastern and southern regions and winds possibly reaching 40 km/h. A slight drop in temperatures is anticipated by Thursday, although windy conditions may persist, causing further dust.

The weekend is forecasted to be fair to partly cloudy, with cloud formation in eastern areas and continued humidity overnight, maintaining the risk of fog or mist in some coastal regions.
