UAE recalls three supplements and medical product over safety concerns

## Products Recalled

The Emirates Drug Establishment (EDE) has issued a recall for three dietary supplements and one medical product in the UAE due to safety issues. The products were found to contain unapproved ingredients or had quality defects.

## Specific Products

The first product, "Super Immune+", was recalled for containing dimethylaminoethanol (DMAE), molybdenum amino acid chelate, and boron citrate, none of which are approved by the EDE. "WoundVite", another supplement, was withdrawn for including a novel food ingredient not authorized under European regulations.

## Health Risks

The "Rosabella Moringa Capsule" was recalled following a safety update from the US FDA, which highlighted salmonella contamination. Additionally, certain batches of the laboratory product Isotonac-4 were pulled from the market due to a reported quality defect.

## Consumer Advisory

The EDE has advised consumers to avoid purchasing or using these products and urged businesses not to advertise or sell them. The products were identified on various online sales platforms and were not legally imported or registered in the UAE.
