## Historic Achievement in Darwin
Australian fast bowler Josh Hazlewood has joined an elite group by becoming the ninth Australian to take 300 Test wickets. This milestone was achieved during the first Test against Bangladesh in Darwin, where Hazlewood took six wickets, including the crucial dismissal of Ebadot Hossain.
## Joining the Elite Club
Hazlewood's achievement places him alongside fellow Australian bowlers Nathan Lyon, Pat Cummins, and Mitchell Starc, making Australia the first team to field four bowlers with over 300 Test wickets each. His career bowling average of 24.02 is among the best for Australian bowlers who have reached this milestone, trailing only Glenn McGrath, Pat Cummins, and Dennis Lillee.
## Key Performance in the Match
On the third day of the Test, Hazlewood played a pivotal role by taking four wickets after lunch, including ending Mehidy Hasan Miraz's innings at 65. His efforts contributed to Bangladesh's first-innings total of 426, giving them a significant lead over Australia.
