## Weekend Weather Overview
The UAE is expected to experience mostly dry conditions this weekend, with a possibility of light rain on Sunday in northern and eastern areas. Saturday will likely remain dry, with fair to partly cloudy skies.
## Temperature and Humidity
Temperatures across the UAE will remain high, with inland areas potentially reaching up to 49°C. Coastal regions may see temperatures between 40°C and 45°C, while mountainous areas could range from 32°C to 38°C. Humidity is expected to increase on Saturday night, possibly leading to fog or mist in some coastal areas by Sunday morning.
## Rain Chances on Sunday
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) forecasts that clouds could develop in northern and eastern parts of the UAE on Sunday, which might bring light, localized rainfall. Winds will be light to moderate, starting southeasterly and shifting to northwesterly, with speeds up to 30 km/h.
## Post-Weekend Weather
From Monday, the likelihood of rain increases, with convective clouds possibly forming over eastern areas, potentially bringing rain. Winds may strengthen to 40 km/h, raising the chance of blowing dust. Similar conditions are expected on Tuesday and Wednesday, with rain possible in eastern and southern regions.
## Seasonal Transition
August marks the final phase of the UAE's peak summer season, known as Al Qayz. The appearance of the Suhail star on August 24 traditionally signals the gradual retreat of intense summer heat, although temperatures can still approach 50°C inland. The transition to cooler nights is expected to continue until the autumnal equinox on September 23.
